The Sustainable Chemicals Stage
Sustainable Chemicals
To address the growing concern of plastic waste, the utilization of recycled plastics in electronics and electrical (E&E) products is gaining momentum. While mechanical recycling technology has matured, enhancing recycled content in downstream polymer processing remains crucial. This study investigates the impact of recycled content and performance modifier on the short-term properties and durability of plastics. Our findings emphasize the significance of material sorting/screening and the management of recycled content in maintaining the quality of sustainable materials and promoting the application of circular economy principles. By providing insights into the relationship between recycled content and plastic performance, this research offers valuable guidance for optimizing recycled plastic practices and fostering sustainability in industrial applications.
