This distribution agreement will take effect in Indonesia and it will involve Azelis distributing allnex’s range of additives which can be used for coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers (CASE) segment.

The new agreement builds on a longstanding commercial relationship between allnex and Azelis which is already in effect in other regions and the benefits of expanding the partnership to Indonesia, is that it will broaden Azelis’ presence in the CASE segment, whilst also enhancing and improving the company’s customer solutions.

allnex’s clear commitment to sustainability aligns very well with Azelis’ strategy of providing innovative and sustainable solutions. The company is able to cater to a wide range of industry applications, due to the company’s range of high-performance, environmentally friendly additives, such as low volatile organic compounds (VOC) wetting and dispersing agents, as well as hazardous air pollutant substance-free (HAPS-free) flow modifiers. Supplying products such as this means that paint formulations are optimised and it provides customers with a useful competitive edge.

Altogether, the mandate will certainly complement Azelis’ lateral value chain within the CASE segment in Indonesia and it will provide Azelis with the chance to offer customers a better and more comprehensive range of solutions. It is through the adjustment of rheological properties that the extensive product line is able to boost the performance of industrial and decorative paint formulations and it is also through this adjustment that flow and levelling is improved, which ultimately reduces foam, whilst enhancing pigment dispersibility and adhesion.
