An NFC Tagged Sustainable Clothing Line has been launched by KOLAB

A plan to launch their Fall/Winter 2024 collection, has been announced by clothing brand, KOLAB Collection. This company is a global clothing brand that is dedicated to sustainable clothing and their next range of clothes will be an NFC-tagged clothing line.

The idea behind this company is that the clothing will be passed down and in order to support this design, this company has become the first clothing company to use NFC (Near Field Communication) tagging technology on both a wide scale and a day-to-day basis. These tags benefit the clothing when it comes to authentication, inventory management, resale management, and finally, traceability. Doing this makes it easy to hand the clothes down to the next wearer.

Highlighting the company’s focus on being eco-friendly and more sustainable, the Fall/Winter collection portrays a direct focus onto themes of minimalization. These are shown with clean silhouettes and the use of neutral blues, greens and khakis, which were all inspired by the colours of New England and urban and natural settings.

Moreover, it has been revealed that the new range will include new designs for signature items such as the Mixed Fabric Chore Jacket, Waterproof Tech Jacket, Padded Parka and other clothing. This collection will also have features such as hidden pockets, ventilation systems and finally, adjustable elements, therefore making the clothing fully functional without compromising style.

Founder of KOLAB Collection Paul Ng, commented, “After years of development, my team and I are excited to introduce the KOLAB Collection to the world. Our sustainable fashion line reflects the values that we believe in—functionality, style, and durability. We are confident in the exceptional quality of our pieces, from YKK zippers to stitching techniques that ensure a flawless fit, giving our pieces the longevity to be passed down rather than discarded. To make this process seamless, we are one of the first clothing companies to utilize NFC tagging technology on a wide scale to ensure that wearers can always trace the provenance of each item.”
